Hi! It’s Sara.

Being a hairstylist was supposed to be my backup plan, but it turns out I’m pretty dang good at it, so I’m happy to say I’ve stuck around for the long haul and could never look back now as the passion and creativity I get to explore every day is something I couldn't have dreamed of loving this much. 

 

I’ve dabbled in most areas of the hair industry and collected my fair share of certifications and publications throughout the years. But my most treasured accomplishment thus far is becoming an advanced-level educator under Davine's umbrella. I not only love being around creative people, but I find I’m always learning from them, too, which is such a gift. Teaching and mentoring the stylists that sit in my classes creates a sense of pride I never knew existed inside me until the first time one of my students had an ah-ha moment on a colour struggle they were having, and no one could break it down for her in a way that her brain could understand; until I did. It was a beautiful and memorable moment that made me the educator I am today. 

 

When I joined Industry Hair Co. as Master Colourist and Director of Education, I was honoured not only to hold this role but also to be able to share all my knowledge with this incredible team of talented stylists. 

 

I’m married to a Miltonian, and we have two kids and a large dog with whom I’m absolutely obsessed. If you’re a dog lover and in my chair in the future, ask me for pictures, and I will gladly show him off 🤣. I consider myself a textbook extrovert and love the outdoors during all seasons, so if that's your jam, too, I’d love to chat about your favourite walking trails or hidden little gems in Milton for me to explore.
